Hi! I'm Dr. Jay. For more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of caring for infants, children, teenagers, and children with special healthcare needs. Whether it's a baby's very first dental visit, fixing a tooth after an unexpected accident, or helping a nervous child feel brave enough to smile, I love being part of each family's journey. ​ My dental journey has taken me around the world. I've trained in India, Hong Kong, England, and the United States, learning from some of the best pediatric dentists and bringing those experiences together to provide gentle, modern, evidence-based care. Every child is unique, so I believe every dental visit should be too. I've taught future pediatric dentists as an Associate Professor at the VCU School of Dentistry, and have been honored to serve as President of the Virginia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. 

At Blue Jay Pediatric Dentistry, you'll often hear me talking, laughing, and celebrating with our patients. Whether we're counting teeth, choosing a favorite toothbrush color, or giving out high-fives after a great visit, I want children to leave feeling proud of themselves and excited to come back. When I'm not in the office, I'm always looking for my next adventure. I'm learning to fly airplanes, love cooking meals from different cultures, enjoy traveling to new places, and never say no to a little adventure. I believe learning never stops—and that's something I hope to inspire in every child I meet. I can't wait to meet your family and help your child's little smile take flight!
